About us

We are a small group of guitarists who happen to also be electrical engineers, an amp technician and programmer located in the Midlands UK, dedicated to quality workmanship and take huge pride in our work and customer service - currently we operate not for huge profit, but to establish our name and reputation.

Hopefully our prices reflect this, they only just cover our materials, import costs, equipment, chemicals & fuel to the post office. Every single surplus penny earned gets ploughed into the purchase of equipment and test pedals/pickups/leads for us to develop new mods on. However our customers are quick to point out that the quality of our work is second to none! Many mods are fine tuned with the help of professional musicians to meet their needs, and ensure they sound great at stage performance volumes.

Because we want the Holy Grail of tone also!

Our research and development guys have been busy beavering away in one dark corner of our workshop for the past couple of months developing a true bypass system that can be dropped into most Ibanez/Dunlop and some Boss pedals (others manufacturers & models still to be determined). Finally the fumes have cleared and the end result is a small circuit approx 35mm x 25mm, that requires very little power to operate, that will actuate true bypass and LED indicator via a miniature relay.

Repairs, Upgrades and Mods

If you are the owner of a faulty Boss or Ibanez pedal (or any other that is on our standard mod list) then drop us an email and we can discuss the repair options, repairs take time so we book them in to our workshop in advance. We don't take shortcuts, we don't use cheap components from high street electrical shops, we have a background in electronics engineering (from 1992) so can fault find or tune mods accordingly - we are the UK experts.

Check out the price list for the mod costs, don't forget that we wont copy a rival mod, but don't worry biggest isn't always best, we will however work with your supplied instructions, although it's at your own risk and we cant guarantee that it'll sound as good as our version of the mod.

We advise that all pedals are sent to us via Recorded Delivery, or at the very least in a suitable padded card box to prevent damage in transit. We email you as soon as the pedal arrives and perform a detailed check to make sure it's in 100% working order. If a pedal is found to be seriously faulty - abused, smashed etc - then it will be returned to the sender and no repair or mod will be performed. Most repairs are processed within 7 to 10 working days, mods are turned around within three or four working days however you will be kept fully informed at every stage of the process, the pedal will be returned by regular 1st class or Recorded delivery (Special delivery costs are double the price) but we've never had one go missing as we use strong padded boxes.
